Art is created by local elementary students depicting "I smile when I see ____ in Fruita". Different themes for the art have been used to help students find out what they love about their town and build a sense of community. Posters are displayed in Fruita businesses in the spring. Each student receives "I love Fruita" stickers designed by Andrea Downs for their hard work creating this art!
This project has been going since 2023 with Rim Rock Elementary. We are excited to have expanded to all Fruita area schools and homeschool students with the generous support of our sponsors. We now have nearly 500 participants each year!
