At Fruita for Equality, our mission is promoting and supporting equality, inclusivity, and diversity through meaningful conversations and action in our community.
Past Projects
- Generations Connect: Speed Mingling event with FMHS Interact
- Supporting local initiatives and groups such as Cesar Chavez Days, MLK Jr. Days, Juneteenth, and Western Slope PRIDE
- Hosting a viewing of a local student film project titled A Relentless Climb
- Hosting a viewing of documentary Join or Die with Fruita Rotary
- Rising out of Hatred community book read including anti bias workshop, ally workshop, and discussion with the author Eli Saslow
- Hosting a halloween pumpkin carve for local youth
